How duty and VAT work
GRA, the Guyana Revenue Authority, charges duty on the price you paid for the item plus freight. VAT is 14% of that amount plus the duty. The duty rate depends on the item. Both are already in your cargo total.

Will I owe anything when my parcel arrives?
No. Your confirmed cargo price includes freight, receiving and handling, duty and VAT. You pay once, before delivery. Nothing is due at your door or when you collect at the hub. Your item is bought separately from the store.
Can I use my RideGY account?
Yes. Sign in with the account you already use for RideGY, or create a new one. Joining cargo is free. Nothing is due until a parcel arrives at our dock.
What if something is missing or damaged?
Open a case from your account. The dock photos are attached, so you can show what arrived and what’s wrong. Your parcel’s photos, weight and dimensions are already there to refer to.
How does the prepaid wallet work?
Add funds to your wallet, then use your balance to pay a parcel’s confirmed price. You still see the full breakdown before paying, and nothing is collected at the door.
